Victoria Tentler-Krylov grew up in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She came to New York with her family when she was eighteen, and studied architecture and urban design at Cooper Union and Columbia University. Victoria now lives in New Jersey and is a practicing architect and editorial illustrator with art published in The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and The New Yorker.
Victoria’s forthcoming illustration projects include Stone by Stone (Holiday House, 2026) and Antonia and her Magic Wand (Anne Schwartz Books, 2026); her next author-illustrated picture book, Look!, will publish with Dial in 2027.
