Though a grown-up, Susanna’s inner child is her strongest strength and has led her to spend a lot of energy creating children’s books. She designed picture books in-house for a decade at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Candlewick Press, and HarperCollins. In 2019, she pivoted to illustration and muraling full-time and lives in Nashville with her husband and many old tubes of paint.
