Ruth Bornstein

Ruth Lercher Bornstein is a first generation American, who grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She loves witnessing the life cycle in her vegetable garden, and then finding words and filling sketchbooks with pictures. She hasn’t stopped writing and making art since her first book was published in 1973. Her numerous titles include The Dancing ManLittle GorillaRabbit’s Good News, and That’s How it is When We Draw. She is also a painter and longtime folk dancer.
