Maya P. Lim is an author-illustrator and brand designer based in San Francisco. She holds degrees in English and Environmental Studies from the University of Chicago, where she wrote her honors thesis on the environmental impacts of publishing Beatrix Potter’s Tale of Peter Rabbit, and in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Cornell University, where she realized her interest in science could never overpower her obsession with children’s books. Maya enjoys pickles, jazz, and hoarding notebooks.
