Katie Vernon is an illustrator and author living in the mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona. Her author-illustrated books include “We’re Having a Party (For Everyone!)” (Abrams), “Ari Arranges Everything” (Running Press), and “Happy Halloweenie”/”Relish the Season” (Simon & Schuster). As an illustrator she’s had the pleasure of working with Workman, Quarry, Compendium, and many other incredible clients. Her art is infused with lush, handmade textures and vibrant colors. Katie has the memory of a large goldfish and enjoys thrifting, witty humor, and is also rather fond of her high school sweetheart, their daughter, and their two goofy dogs.
