JooHee Yoon

JooHee Yoon is an illustrator and printmaker currently based in New York City. She splits her time between creating picture books and editorial/advertising projects. Her clients include The New York Times, Mailchimp, and Warby Parker, among others. In 2015 her first picture book, a contemporary take on the James Thurber classic The Tiger Who Would Be King, was named one of The New York Times‘s 10 Best Illustrated Children’s Books. Since then she has illustrated four other books, and is currently working on her debut picture book as an author-illustrator. Her work has been awarded a gold medal from the Society of Illustrators, the ADC Young Guns award, and she was named Forbes 30 under 30 in 2019.
