Jeremy Holmes is an internationally-recognized children’s book illustrator who seeks to give each book a visual voice that is entirely its own, tailoring his style to each unique manuscript. This process can include custom hand-drawn typography, experimentation with physical form and paper mechanics, and an array of visual media.
He received the prestigious BolognaRagazzi Opera Prima Award (2010) for his debut book, THERE WAS AN OLD LADY WHO SWALLOWED A FLY. Since then, he has illustrated picture book fiction (MAZIE’S AMAZING MACHINES) and non-fiction (THE EYE THAT NEVER SLEEPS, ROAD TRIP!, THOMAS JEFFERSON’S BATTLE FOR SCIENCE, and INTRODUCING SANDWINA)), poetry (POEM-MOBILES), and novels (the SECRETS OF THE DRAGON TOMB series). Jeremy lives in Abington, PA, with his wife and four children.
