Janet Landay wears many artistic hats, including children’s book illustrator, portrait painter, and arts administrator. She published her first children’s book, Kangodile, with Chronicle Books, and currently devotes much of her time painting portraits of pets, some of which can be seen at www.paintingcatsanddogs.nyc. As frequently as possible she makes goats fly, ducks dance, and viewers smile.
