Frenci (Francesca) Sanna is an Italian picture book illustrator and author whose main interest lies in visual storytelling and narrative illustration. Their first book The Journey won, among others, the 2017 Kate Greenway Amnesty Honour (UK), the Klaus Flugge Prize (UK), and has been translated into over 20 languages. Their most recent publications include Me and My Fear, My Friend Earth, The More You Give, and If You Were a City. They currently are based in Zurich where they work, constantly missing the small Mediterranean island they come from, the sea, and their cat.
