Chloe is an illustrator and author from California. She spent her childhood going between the local library and the vintage cinema. She has an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art, where she won the Printmaking Award and was shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Awards.
Chloe’s inspiration includes old movies, limited color palettes, and long walks along bodies of water. You can find her most days in the print room, seeking magic in offset monoprinting, lithography, and the risograph machine. She loves smudgy materials and building atmosphere through mixed media, and she lives in the ever-atmospheric Cambridge and Berkeley, California.
