Anne Emond is an illustrator, writer, and comics artist living in Queens, NY. She graduated with an MFA from the School of Visual Arts. For many years she maintained a semi-autobiographical webcomic called Comiques, which was awarded a gold medal in Digital Media from the Society of Illustrators. Her comics and illustrations have appeared in The New York Times, Best American Comics, Time Out New York, The Oyster Review, and Google Play, among others. When she’s not drawing you will probably find her knitting, tending to her balcony container garden, or sitting beside her kindergartener while they watch My Neighbor Totoro for the 400th time.
