Based in Columbus, Ohio, annalise barber-opp illustrates for children and those who are young at heart. Her previous clients include Penguin Random House (Dial Books), Abrams, and Candlewick Press. In addition to publishing for children, annalise also nurtures young minds; she formerly taught as a K-8 art teacher, and she currently volunteers with elementary students on the weekends. When she is not illustrating books, she develops the talent of new illustrators as an adjunct professor at the Columbus College of Art & Design. Both in the classroom and in her artwork, annalise aims to inspire and empower future generations by crafting diverse stories.
